FaceAt a glance
FaceOff is a local game app for two people, made by Rullit. It does not require an account, run ads, include analytics or tracking SDKs, or send gameplay to a Rullit server. This policy describes the current development version; it will be updated if the app’s data practices change.
What stays on your device
FaceOff saves player names, selected avatars, win counts, completed match and tournament records, word-prompt recency, and preferences such as theme, sound, haptics, categories, and round settings. Match records include player names, dates, game types, and scores. The app retains up to 200 match records and 50 tournament records; older records are replaced as new ones are added. Achievements are derived from this local data.
Private turns and drawings
Active game choices, guesses, ship positions, cards, and drawings are used locally during play. In-progress games remain in memory and are not saved for recovery after the app closes. Completed history contains results, not a replay of private answers or drawings. Device pose and hinge changes are used locally to arrange the interface and control reveals. FaceOff does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or location access.
Your opponent can see the device
On-screen covers and handoffs help keep turns private, but they do not guarantee that another person cannot see your screen. Duo’s inner display is one continuous screen. Keep secret turns out of other people’s view and reveal only when you are ready.
Purchases through Apple
Optional FaceOff Pro purchases and restoration use Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. The app checks verified transaction information to determine whether Pro is unlocked. Rullit does not receive your payment-card details. Apple processes purchase and account information under Apple’s privacy policy.
Sharing is your choice
If you use Share or Share the result, FaceOff prepares text containing player names, scores, and the game or tournament details. Information leaves the app only through the destination you choose in the system share sheet. The receiving app or service handles shared information under its own policies.
Backups, retention, and deletion
Local app files may be included in device or iCloud backups according to your Apple settings; FaceOff does not provide its own cloud sync. In Settings, “Reset match history” clears match history, tournament history, and player win counts. It keeps names, avatars, preferences, word recency, and purchases. You can edit player names and avatars in “Players & avatars.” Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its local data from that device. Copies in backups or shared destinations must be managed separately. Removing local data does not cancel or erase Apple’s purchase records.
Support and website visits
If you email support@rullit.com, Rullit and its email providers receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, investigate issues, and maintain support records for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or legal obligations. Please avoid sending private gameplay content or payment details. This website uses Cloudflare Pages; hosting and security services may process request information such as IP address, browser details, and visited pages. See the Rullit website privacy policy.
Your choices and questions
You can manage local data as described above and ask us about access, correction, or deletion of support information by emailing support@rullit.com. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location. We cannot retrieve gameplay stored only on your device. FaceOff does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through gameplay; a parent or guardian can contact us about information sent to support.
Updates
We will publish changes here with an updated date. If a future feature changes how personal information is handled, we will update this policy and provide any notice or consent required by applicable law.
