How do we play?
Bring two or more players and one device. Read a prompt, bid on the number of answers you can give, then raise or call PROVE IT! The highest bidder answers out loud while the group taps COUNT for accepted answers. Duplicates do not count. Tournament needs at least four players.
Does the app need Wi-Fi or a microphone?
No. Gameplay and prompts work offline. Your group judges answers; the app does not listen or record. An internet connection may be needed to buy or restore Pro.
What is free?
Showdown includes 150 Starter prompts with unlimited games and no player cap. The optional one-time Pro purchase adds the other five modes, the full prompt library, and customization. There is no subscription.
How do I restore Pro?
Open Settings and choose Restore Purchases while online, using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Restore is also available on the Pro screen. If you still need help, see Apple’s purchase restoration guide or email us. Free Showdown remains playable if the store cannot connect.
Can we fix a scoring mistake?
Use Correct result before continuing from a proof result. The group decides whether answers were valid. Bomb explosion results cannot be reversed as disputed answers.
How do I remove saved names?
Turn off Remember the crew in Settings to remove the saved roster. The crew may remain in the current session. See our Privacy Policy for local storage and backup details.
Can we avoid mature topics?
Yes. Select categories suitable for your group. Dating & Couples and Awkward & Unfiltered are optional; the latter requires explicit 18+ confirmation.
